
Kristen Anne Bell was born July 18 the 18th of July, 1980. [1] She is an American actress and singer. Beginning her acting career by playing in stage productions during her time attending the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, she made her Broadway stage debut in the role of Becky Thatcher in the comedy musical The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and appeared in the Broadway revival of The Crucible the following year. Then, she appeared in the action thriller Spartan (2004). The film was also recognized for her performance as Becky Thatcher from The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. In the following year she appeared on Broadway in a rerun of The Crucible. She reprised the role in the 2014 movie and the reboot in 2019. Bell played the lead in the musical Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical (2005) as Mary Lane. This was a reprised role from her New York musical. Bell played a part in Heroes, the superhero drama as Elle Bishop, from 2007 from 2007 to in 2008. Bell played the narrator of Heroes in the drama for teenagers Gossip Girl, reprising the role in the sequel to 2021. Bell also appeared as Jeannie van der Hooven who played the female lead on the Showtime comedy series House of Lies. Bell starred as Eleanor Shellstrop, the leading character in the critically acclaimed NBC comedy show The Good Place. She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award. Bell played the character of Eleanor Shellstrop in the streaming series The Woman in the Home across the street from the Girl in the Window.
