Aura Sanchez Garrido works as an actress on Spanish films and television. She has appeared in such films as Stockholm as well as the TV series El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido is an Madrid native born 1989. Tomas Garrido composes music and conducts orchestras, and Pilar Sanchez is a painter. When she was just four, she took her first lessons in piano and then began ballet. She speaks English because she had an english-speaking friend as a child. Her high-school studies over and she attended Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico located in Madrid. In the school, she learned interpreter for three years, specializing on textual translation. She left the school at the end of 2010 after she secured a role in Planes para manana. The role won her an award of Silver Biznaga in the Best Supporting Actress category, and an award for Goya Awards' best debut actress.
