Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell is an American actress. Born on 27 March 1970, she's 5'9 inches tall. She is best known for playing Dr. Juliet Burke in ABC's Lost television show as well as FBI Agent Erica Evans in V. Gia. Mitchell is co-starring with Eric Kripke in the television series Revolution which airs on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell, her stepfather, and Josephine Marian Mitchell are both lawyers from Dallas. Mitchell and her mother relocated to Dallas Texas from California in the year 1970. In the year 1975 Mitchell's mother got married to Joseph Mitchell. Mitchell is a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School which is a public magnet school for performing and visual arts. She is the oldest of her three sisters, her two sisters are Kristina Kristie Mitchell (the youngest) as well as Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. Mitchell trained in acting at British American Drama Academy and was a graduate of Stephens College, graduating in 1991. Mitchell has worked in Dallas Theater Center six years.
